2012 in review

The stats helper monkeys prepared a 2012 annual report for this blog.

Here’s an excerpt:

600 people reached the top of Mt. Everest in 2012. This blog got about 6,000 views in 2012. If every person who reached the top of Mt. Everest viewed this blog, it would have taken 10 years to get that many views.

To be talented is a gift

Back to 3 or 4 months ago , I was still able to embrace the lavish smile of my green students. I won’t sink in sweet   memories skipping the wonderful present I’m living; yet, I have to stop for a while and spur the joy of the old times.

The start of my classes were pretty lax. I was conscious that this ought to be a different experience. Hopefully, I was supposed to do kind of enhancement activities which were for me something like ” BE FREE”. I drove myself  nut doing a lot of stuff that our conservative teaching mode estranges. We danced, sang , cooked, played and cried.

I wouldn’t be honest and clear if I claim that I didn’t learn and get novelties from my pupils. I have been bombarded by their high tech knowledge and surrendered at last.A generation born and bred in the era of technology  doesn’t need a mundane classroom.

Talent, that’s a vague word that eludes a panoply of  gifted competencies. I did contemplate on my classes and found out that I should let it go free and watch that talent skirmishes  not from my sanctuary desk, but as a naive student. Giving nicknames to my students is something I wouldn’t do. However, I kept some for myself. I know some of you might get surprised, others will cheer up.Eventually, please bear in mind that because of you I’m teaching differently.

Here’s a list of my talented students bound with nicknames ( I mean positive ones):

Khalil : the manager ( I do remember how committed you were in Radio programme).

Sara : funny ( you won’t miss a second to smile).

Rachiki : the wise man (Ask Mouad to get the answer, not always right, but usually close).

Ilham : The poet ( I have never read one of her poems, yet I feel she’s born poet).

Falah: The writer (Well, I didn’t know she has a different style but late).

Mountassir: The shadow( always escapes spot lights and loves to be in the shadow).

Bari: The spoiled hare ( I know he has got much to do and say but when he ends his hibernation. Always surprising with new ideas).

Chayma : …  ( I really couldn’t find one for her but the fanatic parrot).

Meriam: The peace maker ( quiet ,nice but sometimes  a real volcano).

Youssef: The journalist ( I bet you all remember his video about Obama).

Amin : The ring show ( We have got to salute his voice in a Catch ting).

Majda : The Artist ( isn’t she a gifted singer, cook, and painter  and over all nice ).

Zahira : If you forgot her, well I didn’t. She’s an amazing teacher.

kilali : A wonderful actor ( I missed sidi Mohammed…I always recall your Scottish outfit)

Asma : Well, I intended to list Asma last because she’s the motive I’m writing this post. I’m a photography enthusiast and I have tracked professional photographers for a while. Asma deserves to be driven to the spot light. Some of her shots :

That was kind of personal reflection. I didn’t write for a while, so please mind my verbatim style.I didn’t won’t to wave goodbye to my lust of writing. I welcome your comments ( Critics and compliments). I Love you dear students ( I mean ,I really do )…

Old Funnies

Hi everybody
 My name is Amine :
When i was young ,I did a lot of huge problems , But I rememberred one of them very well ,like it happened yesterday .One day i was playing one game it’s not afomous game but we were playing it, it called ” Warrior ”  we made a big sword and we put it in our hip and when someone  come near to you with a rope you should cut it .I  took the sword quickly and i cut my hip before cutting the rope it was seriously injured, but finally i went with my father to the hospital and treat the injury.
when i was in primary school .exactly in the first grade, i was with my friend in the yard at recreation friend found a piece of 5 DHs , and he felt very happy . i told him that if he have toke it with him to the classroom ,the teacher would have taken it from i advised him to bury it . my friend Ahmed toke my advice and i help him to bury the 5 DHs .
fortunately Ahmed wanted to go to the W.C so i said to myself <<this is the occasion and i mustn’t miss it >>and i told him<<oh my friend you can go to the W.C and i’ll guard the 5DHs until you come back >>when he went to the W.C i dug and took the 5 DHs .and when he come back ,he tried to takeout  his money but he didn’t find it , and he ask me if someone had take ir .                    i said :<<i was here since you’ve gone to the W.C  and no one had taken it , may be there are some demons here ,let’s  run-away to the classroom >>
once we got out of school ,i went to the grocery store and i bought some candies , some chocolates, some cookies and i went home very very happy!!!!!!!……..
When I was 7years old I still remember that I always ate cakes of everyone especially cake’s birthdays. One day my mom made a nice cake for my brother’s birthday  so as everyone knew I was a huge fan of cake’s mom because she was one of the most best cooker and she still it right now , I couldn’t stop thinking of this delicious cake , so without thinking I went to the kitchen trying to find this tresor . Hopelessly my brother was more intelligent then me , he knew that I love cakes , so he was like a guard in front of the door of the kitchen without moving telling me that I will paid all the cakes that I  ate before.
My reaction was laughing because the way he told me was very funny , when he saw me laghing he thought that I ate his cake and he run into the place’s cake he didn’t find anything he started crying when everyone were singing ” happy birthday mohamed…..” !

                                                      My Silly Story

                                                Of when i was Young

When i was younger :ages 6-7, we went to the beach, and i  went to swim , ”in the send “of course because i was very young then, so I met a girl bigger than me a little bit i don’t remember her name anymore, but i remember that she was better than me at swimming.

So I watched her very carefully, and decided to do like her: I waited a wave a small one I swam under it and I get up and nothing happen to me ,but another one came and I didn’t take my breath ,and it pouched me down, I was sinking and drinking the salty water euh!! But my uncle saved me in the last minute: he took me up from my back “thanks’ to him I’m alive”

It’s was a freaky moment for me,

when i was in premary school one man came to ask for my father  hi told me to tell hem hi is absent i told hem hi told you hi is absent …hhh

when i was 2 years old , and i could barely stand up , i went to the phone table and applayed the police number, and then a police man answered and he was yelling because he thaught that somone is playing some silly jokes ,but , fortunatly my dad came and save the situation, lucky me……hhhhhhhhh.can you believe that?….

Mouaad Errachiki:

when i was 7,i had a horrible accident  , when i was playing with my friends football

,one of my team shoot a strong ball and it kicked me in my head ;so i lost my conscience and my friends took me to my house ,and i didn’t go to school for a week , it was a night mare  for me and it was a bad memory.

When i was  young .i like eating a delicious meal : it was a powder of(Flan)we mixed it with milk and we pour it in cups ,then i always try to choose the bigest cup after being freezing. One day, they were almost similar and because i coudn’t alter my habit, i went to kitchen with a compass and began to measure which one is bumper than the other ones. After trying and trying the fiddly measurment led me  to the bigest cup (as i thought) .When my mather saw me i thought that she will certainly make a scene  but the suprise was that she laughed deeply because there was no deffrence beteen the four cups .it was just a crazy behaviour by me but fanny, doesn’t it?.

Well done my little warriors. You have got funny stories.Love them. They are all my favorite. Now, I know you more.
Try to find out who made fewer mistakes.Mistakes mean you are definitely advancing in English.
Reading your stories made feel eager to share mine.I will write one ASAP.

  The Arabic female Bill Gates

                       It’s imbeleivable but it’s real

Before i was all the time thinking that the most difficult thing in life is to be rich . but when i met miss Hajar i mean the most famous busniss  woman in the Arabic world , i change my idea completely  ! her start was somehow strange because she was a clothes seller in the flea market , and in a wink of an eye she becomes  the most rich miss . how ? when ? why and where ?? those wore my questions when i met her . she didn’t gave me an exact answers but  what i understand is that she has a very big self-confidence which gave her energy to maintain working haard and trying to change frpom the fame in the Arabic world to the whole world .

The extraordinary thing is that she has two children and a husband who loves her very much and who has just told us in a show that she’s the kind of a successful wife , mother and busnisswomen .

moroccan women glitter in turkey

the Moroccan woman became more brilliant in the world more than Mrs.nezha skely and Aicha chenna in 2010; the example from turkey .jihan elalawi the ambassador of morocco in turkey .she is rich ,cultivated ,and more she is young .Miss jihan elalawi can win 10 million$ for one month with 31 year old ,she loves her job and country ,she gave all her life for them for that she is still single .jihan alawi has a big villa in Istanbul and she uses cars and plans but she still the modest Moroccan woman .jihan alawi thinks the rich is not the most important thing to be happy and she say “we can get whatever we  want by money but we can’t get a near family wherever we are”
