TKT FOR FREE
We hope to offer a free online TKT course for teachers of English in selected areas of Morocco starting in March 2010. The course will last eight weeks from 24 March until 19 May 2010 and will be based on TKT Module 3 (Managing the Teaching and Learning Process). Module 3 consists of the following units:
3.1 Classroom Functions
3.2 Identifying the Functions of Learner Language
3.3 Categorising Learners’ Mistakes
3.4 Teacher Roles
3.5 Grouping Students
3.6 Correcting Learners
3.7 Giving Feedback
The course plus exam would normally cost up to 5,000 dirhams. However, we are offering the course itself for free and will be able to arrange a special rate of 500 dirhams for the exam fee. Because this is a Cambridge University-administered exam, we have no control over the exam fee itself. In all though, this is a great opportunity to get an internationally-recognised teaching qualification at a much discounted rate
Festival of gardens’ art
Marrakesh will host the fourth edition of
Gardens’ art festival between 16 and 18 April 2010.The festival will include many activities: Shows,conferences,round tables and open air spectacles.

The 9th edition of the International Festival of Film –Marrakesh (FIFM) will be held from December 4th to 12th.
The honored cinema this year is the Thai Movie(from Thailand) .
British council training
The British council is suggesting to organize a workshop for teachers of English.The workshop is about Using Drama in the classroom.It will take place in Chichaoua-Marrakech.Date to be fixed soon.Everyone is therein invited to participate.
